Groundwork is a charity with a green heart. Our Community Repaint Hull and Humber scheme provides an affordable, more ethical, and sustainable solution for businesses to manage their surplus and waste domestic paint. An initiative dedicated to reducing waste, supporting creativity, and helping our community access affordable, viable, good-quality paint.

What Is Community Repaint?

Every year, large amounts of usable paint are thrown away by businesses, manufacturers, and households. Through the Community Repaint Scheme, we work with local businesses to divert perfectly good, viable paint from landfill. Instead of being discarded, this paint is given a new purpose, brightening homes, supporting community projects, and inspiring artists across the region.

What it costs?

Our service is free for those who are able to drop off their paint.

What can you donate?

We accept donations of full and part-used tins of viable domestic paint, wood stain and varnishes.
